Overview

In an intimate atmosphere rich in history, Hotel Lunetta is a 4 star luxury hotel located in the historical centre of Rome, in the Campo Marzio area in Piazza del Paradiso, close to Trastevere. Hotel Lunetta was built on the ancient walls of the Theatre of Pompeius in Piazza Paradiso, close to the central Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, a street with a lot of shops and bookshops, which reaches on the one hand Lungotevere and on the other Largo Torre Argentina, an important archaeological site.

he perfect location in the middle between Campo de’ Fiori and Piazza Navona, and between Piazza Farnese, Largo Torre Argentina and the Pantheon, allows guests to reach easily by foot all main tourist attractions in Rome. The central location of Hotel Lunetta allows indeed to reach easily also the Imperial Forum and the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna, but also the Vittoriano.

Rooms

Hotel Lunetta Rome has 30 luxury rooms of different kinds, suitable to respond to all guests’ tastes. All luxury rooms and suites have been recently renovated and represent a perfect union of the modernity of furniture and the ancient fascination of the historical building.

Features

As evidence of the historical value of the building, during the renovation works, just under its foundations the remains of the ancient Theater of Pompeius were recently found. The theater was inaugurated in 55 B.C. and its walls are still visible thanks to the use of glass panels which allow guests to enjoy these precious historical remains, while they are preserved over time.

Food & drink

The American buffet breakfast is served every morning from 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in the breakfast room of the Hotel Lunetta Rome, with varieties of cereals, milk, yogurt, fresh handmade croissants, fresh white and wholemeal bread, jams, honey, scrambled eggs and bacon, cold cuts, fresh cakes, fruits. An excellent espresso coffee, cappuccino and hot drinks are served at the table.
