The NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky occupies a famous building which dates back to 1865, in the centre of Amsterdam, close to the house of Anne Frank, the Red Light District, the Van Gough Museum and the Heineken Beer Brewery.
The Krasnapolsky Hotel has 468 rooms including one suite, six junior suites and 35 renovated apartments. Guests can make use of the onsite fitness centre or relax with a massage. Getting around the city is easy as there are bus and tram stops right outside the hotel and Amsterdam's central train station is only five minutes away.
The hotel also has a summer garden and a winter garden where you can enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast in the morning. The hotels a la carte restaurant, Reflet, offers a varied selection of French cuisine or, if you prefer Oriental, the Shibli Bedouin restaurant is an excellent choice.
Dating back the 1679, the Wynand Fockink Distillery, also has a home in the Krasnapolsky Hotel and here you can taste and buy the best gins and liqueurs. The hotel's lounge offers a selection of homemade tea, liqueurs and an exceptional view of the Dam or for a superb cocktail, try the Krasnapolsky's Golden Palm Bar.

Eating and Drinking
The Reflet restaurant, with its elegant decor, casual atmosphere, Brazilian stone floor and romantic lighting offers the chance to enjoy the creative, culinary menu, great service and an extensive wine list. The restaurant opens from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 6pm to 10pm. At the hotels Shibli Bedouin Restaurant you can experience a selection of delicious food from the Middle Eastern kitchen and during the 4 or 5-course dinner you can watch the traditional preparation and cooking methods or the belly dancer perform. This Oriental restaurant opens Thursday to Saturday from 6pm to 11pm. The Lounge, in the hotel lobby, is well known for its intimate, classical atmosphere and marvelous views of Dam Square and the Royal Palace. The Lounge has special lunch and dinner menus that change quarterly and offers international cuisine with a special emphasis on American specialties. It opens daily between 8am and 11pm. The Lounge also serves hot drinks and afternoon tea but for alcoholic drinks and cocktails, the Krasnapolsky's Golden Palm Bar is the place to go. Finally, the hotels famous and historical Wintergarden is a great place to start the day and serves breakfast in the week between 6.30am and 10.30am, on a Saturday from 7am to 11am and between 7am and 12pm on a Sunday when they also serve a traditional Sunday Brunch.
