This hostel was newly opened in the year 2006 and comprises 6 floors with a total of 60 rooms. The hostel offers a blend of top-notch service and Berlin's famous multi-cultural and cosy ambience to all open-minded travellers and artists. It is a meeting point and offers a completely new kind of hospitality at the heart of Berlin. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a café, a bar, a nightclub, a breakfast room and Internet access with a WLAN access point. The hostel is wonderfully located in a central location behind the famous Friedrichstadtpalast. It is approximately 500 m to Museuminsel and Friedrichstraße railway station and about 100 m to the nightlife scene of Oranienburger Straße and the art centre, Tacheles. Visitors are within an easy walk of the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz and it is also just a one stop or a short drive the Berlin's main train station. Countless shopping venues and restaurants are to be found within a stone's throw of the hostel and it is 20 km to Schönefeld airport whilst Tegel is 5 km away.
