The Westbury is a luxury 5 star hotel situated on Bond Street in London's most exclusive fashion and boutique district. The first Westbury was opened in 1927 in New York City by the polo playing Phipps family, later in 1955 The Westbury London was opened, becoming the first five star American hotel in London and one of the finest hotels in Mayfair.
All rooms and suites have been individually designed with soft contemporary furnishings throughout, with soft neutral colours and modern prints. Flat screen TVs and the all the latest fashion and lifestyle magazines are standard in order to make guests feel home from home. The bathrooms are imperiously designed using fine marble stone imported specially from the Lucca and Bergamo quarries in Italy and are all equipped with rain forest showers and luxurious toiletries.
The penthouse - The St. Georges Suite, defines the ultimate in luxury London living and comes with your own personal butler. There is a spacious living quarter, a dining area for 16 persons, two separate bedrooms and a large terrace overlooking Hanover Square. There are two additional terraced suites, The Berkley and The Hanover. Additional suites are all uniquely designed, all overlooking Bond Street and come fully equipped with separate living areas, dining rooms, cloak rooms and hall ways.
The Westbury also offers suites for private functions including The Pine Room, Mount Vernon, The Brighton and The Regency room. All are fully equipped with the latest IT technology and audio visual equipment and special menus can be catered for should they be required.
Food & Drink
The Polo Bar, situated to the left off the lobby is renowned for its decadent cocktail list, professional knowledgeable staff and comfortable lounge style décor and is enjoyed by many of London's music and fashionable set. Artisan, the art deco style fine dining restaurant is the latest addition to The Westbury and is headed by Executive Chef and Roux scholar, Andrew Jones. Artisan provides a unique gastronomic dining experience with dishes such as whole lobe of Vendee foie gras which serves two, medallion of monkfish, guanaja chocolate & butternut squash fondant with bourbon vanilla ice cream. All can be served with a choice selection of modern or aged wines from our cellar, with our house Sommelier to advise.
The new addition to The Westbury is newly opened Tsukiji Sushi, providing the freshest hot or cold Japanese style fish & seafood delicacies.
